We had a great chill 4th of july this year. We had a big trip planned for the beach and everything but then decided to stay home instead and I am so glad we did!
Growing up we used to always have meals on holidays that went with the color scheme of the day. This 4th of july we did just that. We had a red, white and blue party. Which included pasta salad (I had a lot of fun dying the noodles), A bowl of punch, rice crispy treats, cherry cheese cake, a brownie cake with strawberries and blueberries and lots more...
Claire had a lot of fun playing with gwen...
Scott enjoyed the company...
We set off a couple fireworks ourselves...
Then walked across the street to the park and watch the big fireworks there. Surprisingly it was a pretty good show for such a small town.
It was a great 4th of july. We had a lot of fun with family!
