My sister Alicia also took some family pictures the other day. I really like how they turned out even though Claire decided to glare at the camera.

1 week old
Claire is 1 week old today and my sister Alicia did a photo shoot of her. We had a lot of fun even though she pooped all over and even peed all the way down my mom. I guess thats what happens when you do naked baby pictures. I can't believe its already been a week. Claire is so much fun, she is so strong and has crazy long fingers that grab onto everything. I love being a mom.
This is one of the flowers that her daddy brought to the hospital the day she was born.Sunday, December 12, 2010

39 weeks
So tomorrow I will be 39 weeks, which means 1 weeks and counting! We are so excited to meet our little girl. Time can't go fast enough. Mostly because I am really starting to feel the 40 pounds i've gained and haven't been feeling that great. I am just hoping she will come on time. Our little girl is growing every day and getting stronger and stronger. Rich has been having a lot of fun playing footsie with her since she loves to stick her little foot out as hard as she can!
This is the baby room.
Lately to pass the time I have been crocheting. Rich thinks it is pretty funny and has no idea what we will do with all the hats I have been making but I have really enjoyed it. I figured I can give them away to the million people that we know having babies.
Here is adorable little Katelynn, Rich's sister Leonora had her a few weeks ago. She is so cute.
Lastly, I just wanted to show the baby blanket that Rich's mom and his sister Rachel made for us. I love the colors. We are excited to use it soon.

Its been a lot of fun. The latest family we took pictures for was so cute! http://jessicabutlerdesign.blogspot.com/p/photography.html

Driving, Driving, more Driving and lots of fun along the way!
For the last 10 days we have been on a road trip with Rich's parents. We drove to Iowa to visit Edwin and Jennifer and their kids and made a few fun stops along the way. On the way home we stopped at Benjamin and Shanna's in Colorado and spent some time with them and their kids. It was lots of fun and lots of driving.
One of our first stops along the way was at Devils Tower in Wyoming. It was really cool and we took a hike around the base.
The day before we left Iowa we drove down to Nauvoo. It was so much fun to see everything take a wagon ride and see all the sights and do a session at the temple. It was beautiful. We also stopped at carthage Jail. It was a lot of fun to see some places from church history.
Here is Rohan and Bruce. The had a lot of fun playing with their uncle richard.
The same day we stopped at Mount Rushmore. It was so cool to see in person and learn how they carved it into the mountain.
After lots of driving we finally made it to Edwin and Jennifer's in Iowa city. We stayed with them for a couple days and had a lot of fun with the kids. One day the boys went fishing and ended up tipping their canoe over in the lake and they got to go on a little swim with their phones. Luckily we were able to get them dried out and working again and they even caught some fish.
Here is James, Anne and Grace. They were so much fun and growing up so fast.

On the way home we stopped at winter quarters and saw the temple and visitors center and then drove the rest of the way to colorado to see Benjamin and Shanna and their kids. I wish we could have stayed a little longer with them but we are also very glad to finally be home!

It was a fun trip but I think I am done with driving for a long time.
