Pumpkin Carving Fun

We are so excited that fall is finally here and the weather is great. For FHE last week we carved pumpkins and had a lot of fun. 

Lately Rich has been hunting a lot with his dad, hopefully he gets something! Alicia and I have been taking pictures for people around Rexburg and trying to make a little extra cash. 32 weeks

Driving, Driving, more Driving and lots of fun along the way!

For the last 10 days we have been on a road trip with Rich's parents. We drove to Iowa to visit Edwin and Jennifer and their kids and made a few fun stops along the way. On the way home we stopped at Benjamin and Shanna's in Colorado and spent some time with them and their kids. It was lots of fun and lots of driving. 

One of our first stops along the way was at Devils Tower in Wyoming. It was really cool and we took a hike around the base. 

The same day we stopped at Mount Rushmore. It was so cool to see in person and learn how they carved it into the mountain. 

After lots of driving we finally made it to Edwin and Jennifer's in Iowa city. We stayed with them for a couple days and had a lot of fun with the kids. One day the boys went fishing and ended up tipping their canoe over in the lake and they got to go on a little swim with their phones. Luckily we were able to get them dried out and working again and they even caught some fish. 

Here is James, Anne and Grace. They were so much fun and growing up so fast. 

The day before we left Iowa we drove down to Nauvoo. It was so much fun to see everything take a wagon ride and see all the sights and do a session at the temple. It was beautiful. We also stopped at carthage Jail. It was a lot of fun to see some places from church history.

On the way home we stopped at winter quarters and saw the temple and visitors center and then drove the rest of the way to colorado to see Benjamin and Shanna and their kids. I wish we could have stayed a little longer with them but we are also very glad to finally be home!

Here is Rohan and Bruce. The had a lot of fun playing with their uncle richard. 

It was a fun trip but I think I am done with driving for a long time. 

28 weeks

Biking and Fishing Weekend

This weekend we went fishing, mountain biking and four wheeling. We had lots of fun and all the boys were able to catch some fish. The lake was beautiful. 

Yogurt Chicken with pineapple and roasted red pepper salsa

My least favorite part about making dinner is deciding what to make. Last night we found a random recipe online and decided to try something new. We made Yogurt chicken with Pineapple and Roasted Red Pepper salsa. It was actually really good and we had a lot of fun. 

Rich spent all day writing his personal statement for his application for law school. 

Oregon Baby Shower

My grandma and aunt threw an awesome baby shower when we went home to oregon a couple weeks ago. It was so much fun to see so many people I hadn't seen in a long time. 

We played a game called Tinkle in the Pot. :) It was pretty entertaining. 

We also played pin the baby on the belly button. 

The last game, everyone had to show me what they thought the baby will look like. This was the winning baby. :)
